SATURDAY’S windy weather did not deter riders from competing at the two-day Mildura Horse Complex (MHC) show at the weekend.

SATURDAY’S windy weather did not deter riders from competing at the two-day Mildura Horse Complex (MHC) show at the weekend.

About 100 competitors took part in various events across 13 rings at the Sunraysia Equestrian Complex grounds, braving the wind and the dust.

“We found the judge’s marquis, that we set up the previous night, broken and up in a tree on Saturday morning when we got on site,” MHC secretary Hayley Willison said.

“It was a bit of a blow but we still had a lot of people braving the weather, it didn’t deter them from turning up.
