Only The Brave is a bio-drama based on the true story of the Granite Mountain Hotshots.

It is the heroic story of an elite unit of local firefighters in Arizona, who become a band of brothers in arms in the fight against mother nature’s fury.

The movie chronicles the firefighting crew from their early days struggling to get certified, to their tragic encounter with the Yarnell Hill fire in Arizona.

Started by lightning in on June 28, 2013, the wild fire spread out of control due to high temperatures and strong winds. Nineteen of the Granite Mountain Hotshots were killed.

The crew is specially trained and certified to go into forest on-fire areas and establish a controlled fire line the approaching inferno cannot cross.

Through hope, determination, sacrifice and the drive to protect families, communities and their property, the Hotshots become one of the most elite firefighting team in the United States of America.

Whereas most people run from danger, this proud group of men run towards it.

The Hotshots watch over people's lives, homes and everything they hold dear, as they forge a unique brotherhood that comes into focus with one fateful fire.

Starr: Josh Brolin, Miles Teller, Jeff Bridges, James Badge Dale, Taylor Kitsch, Jennifer Connelly, Scott Haze, Alex Russell, Ben Hardy, Andie MacDowell.
